Chapter 1: Ad Review/Quiz

Complete the Chapter #1 Quiz

All students will complete one Ad Review assignment per chapter to be handed in at the end of the semester. The purpose of this assignment is to have a better understanding of what is happening in the “Marketing World”. Ad Review assignment topics will change for every chapter.   

Your Ad Review must be typed. Below is the proper format to be used each week. Remember to use the heading below and that each section must be labeled and completed.

Company – (Name of the company advertising)

Location –  (Name of the newspaper, magazine, tv station, billboard, website (YouTube) etc. that you saw the advertisement on)

Advertisement –  (What was being advertised? Product? Service? Be Specific! Give a brief summary of the advertisement, in your own words)

Target Market –  (Who is the target market; demographics, geographic, psychographics, behaviors etc.)

Effectiveness –  (Do you think the ad was effective? Why or why not?)

Competitors –  (Who is the company’s competitors? Have you seen any similar ads by them as well?)

Differentiation –  (How did the company differentiate its products/services through the ad, in relation to competitors; discounts, deals, quality etc.)

When you're done work on any outstanding assignment or coding.
